Training and independent consulting for operators who take safety seriously.
AVIASKILLS works with airlines, operators, training organisations and flight departments. Every engagement is built on four decades of operational experience and delivered without commercial interest in any manufacturer, system or supplier.
01 / Practice
CRM & Human Factors Training
Crew Resource Management programmes built on line experience: communication, assertiveness, leadership, fatigue and decision-making.
Practical, scenario-driven training for flight crews, cabin crews and instructors. Built around the human factors that actually drive outcomes in the operating environment, not the ones that only exist on a slide.
02 / Practice
Safety Management & Compliance
Independent review of your SMS, safety culture and regulatory compliance posture, with findings your teams can act on.
Gap analysis against EASA and ICAO expectations, safety reporting maturity, occurrence investigation support and pragmatic corrective action plans. Documented, prioritised and written for operators, not auditors.
03 / Practice
Risk Management
From the risk register to the flight deck: how risk is identified, assessed, communicated and actually managed.
Operational risk assessment, change management support, route and special-airfield risk reviews, and the decision frameworks crews need when the situation leaves the manual.
04 / Practice
Flight Operations Consulting
Independent expertise for operators, training organisations and flight departments facing operational or regulatory change.
SOP and manual review, training programme design, instructor and examiner development, and independent oversight for organisations that need an outside, experienced view.
Safety & emergency training / REF AVK-SAF
Safety training that holds up in the cabin and on the flight deck.
Rescue, fire and smoke, first aid and aeronautical medicine, and dangerous goods programmes written against Regulation (EU) No 965/2012 and mapped to your operation, whether you fly under Part-CAT or Part-NCC. Each course is built around the drills your cabin crew and flight crew actually perform, with the regulatory content kept in its operational place.
01 / Programme
Rescue & Evacuation
Practical rescue and evacuation training for cabin crew, flight crew and ground teams.
- Door and exit operation, normal and emergency
- Evacuation commands and crew coordination
- Assisting passengers with reduced mobility
- Rescue techniques in a confined cabin
Cabin crew
ORO.CC.125 initial and ORO.CC.140 recurrent — evacuation, crowd control and safety equipment drills
Flight crew
ORO.FC.220 conversion and ORO.FC.230 recurrent — emergency equipment, exits and evacuation drills, practical every 3 years
02 / Programme
Fire & Smoke
Recognising, containing and fighting fire and smoke in the aircraft environment.
- Fire behaviour and the fire triangle in the cabin
- Extinguishers, protective breathing equipment, smokehoods
- Smoke management, visibility and communication
- Post-fire procedures and reporting
Cabin crew
ORO.CC.125 fire and smoke training — practical fire fighting with equipment representative of the aircraft
Flight crew

03 / Programme
Dangerous Goods Awareness
Awareness training for crews and ground staff who accept, handle or travel with dangerous goods.
- Hazard classes, labels and marking
- Shipper documentation and acceptance checks
- Lithium batteries, and what passengers may carry
- Recognising and reporting undeclared goods
Cabin crew
CAT.GEN.MPA.200 and SPA.DG.100–110 — DG programme, documentation and crew awareness
Flight crew
Same basis for flight crew, with the notification and decision-making duties carried in the recurrent programme
04 / Programme
First Aid & Aeronautical Medicine
First aid and in-flight medical response, from the first assessment to the handover on the ground.
- Primary assessment and basic life support
- Choking, bleeding, burns and fractures
- Hypoxia, hyperventilation and medical events in flight
- Medical kits and ground medical advice
Cabin crew
ORO.CC.125 first aid and use of first-aid kits — equipment required by CAT.IDE.A.220 and NCC.IDE.A.190
Flight crew
General first-aid training at ORO.FC.220 conversion, first aid and kit contents at ORO.FC.230 recurrent
Part-CAT and Part-NCC
Under Part-CAT, cabin crew follow Part-ORO Subpart CC — initial training at ORO.CC.125, conversion at ORO.CC.130, annual recurrent training and checking at ORO.CC.140 — and flight crew follow Subpart FC, with CRM at ORO.FC.115, conversion and checking at ORO.FC.220 and recurrent training at ORO.FC.230. Part-NCC prescribes no training syllabus of its own, so the same programmes are delivered against your operations manual and equipment fit — first-aid kit to NCC.IDE.A.190, hand fire extinguishers to NCC.IDE.A.205 — and recorded the same way. Courses run on your premises or ours, initial or recurrent, and can be combined into a single day of ground training, with training records kept for your files and for the retention periods the regulation requires.
Discuss Safety TrainingAudit & compliance support / REF AVK-AUD
Help to manage safety and close the audit gaps.
When an audit, an inspection or a regulatory change exposes gaps, closing them quickly and credibly is what keeps an operation approved. We work alongside your teams to audit against the requirement, understand the cause and close each finding with evidence it stays closed.
01
Audit against the requirement
Independent internal audits and gap analysis against EASA and ICAO expectations, with findings prioritised by risk and written for the people who must act on them.
02
Address the root cause
We help you move past the symptom to the underlying system weakness, so the same finding does not return at the next audit.
03
Close the gap with evidence
Workable corrective action plans, realistic timescales and the documentation that shows each finding is closed — and stays closed.
Where we support
- Safety management system
- Compliance monitoring
- Manuals and documentation
- Occurrence reporting
- Corrective action follow-up
- Training and records
Request an audit / REF AVK-AUD-REQ
Tell us what needs auditing.
A short, specific description is enough. You will receive a written view of the scope, the approach and the deliverables before any engagement begins.
- The organisation, the approval and the regulator you answer to
- The scope you want reviewed and what prompted the request
- Any audit date, inspection or deadline you are working to
Details are used only to respond to this request.
How an engagement starts
A conversation, a clear scope, an honest answer.
- 01We discuss your operation, the regulatory context and what prompted the request.
- 02You receive a written outline of the scope, deliverables and timeline.
- 03Delivery is practical, documented and measured against your own procedures.
